MAS LEV is a local action group (LAG) registered on 8th September 2008. The LAG is a work and initiative organisation, established to implement an integrated strategy, which uses the endogenous sources of the territory, to ensure sustainable development. MAS LEV is a multi-sector partnership, which brings together public administrators, entrepreneurs, non-governmental organisations, active citizens and all other people, who pursue the common goals. Since 2018, MAS LEV has been implementing the strategy called The Royal Territory of LEV – the place for all. 

Our main aims are:

  • to ensure sustainable development and effective use of the region´s resources
  • to manage social and economic development of the region
  • to create conditions for wide cooperation
  • to promote modernisation of the rural territories 

We offer to our visitors the connection of rural traditions with modern services in the attractive and unique territory of the Spiš region, situated in north-eastern Slovakia.

ASTRA – Association for Innovation and Development the non-governmental, non-political and voluntary association was established in 1998.

ASTRA focuses mainly on the following activities: educational and training activities with emphasis on eLearning, WBL and distance learning, promotion of social inclusion and employment development, development of innovative and human potential, business and non-business entities, development of regions with respect to innovation, ICT, educational and informational activities. In various projects, ASTRA provides the expertise mainly in formal and non-formal education, dual learning and e-learning, people development and management, creation and evaluation of concepts, policies and strategic studies. ASTRA is a well-known partner and supplier in projects and activities aimed at assessing of the preparedness of regions and cities for development, preparing plans and programs for development as well as transferring knowledge and skills in regional development from and to Slovakia.

CESIE is a European Centre for Studies and Initiatives based in Palermo, Sicily. It is a non-profit, apolitical, and non-governmental organisation, implementing projects in more than 80 countries.

Established in 2001 and inspired by the work and theories of the Italian sociologist Danilo Dolci (1924-1997), CESIE contributes to the active participation of people, civil societies and institutions in various thematic areas, towards the promotion of growth and development, always valuing diversity in the respect of ethics and human development.

The organisation is dedicated to the promotion of research and development so as to increase and improve future-oriented innovation processes in educational, social, economic and cultural spheres.

ENTRE is independent expert organization working to support and promote a systemic approach to innovative and sustainable development of regions, cities, and municipalities. 

ENTRE takes active part in education and ensures availability of educational and up-to-date learning materials, tools and methods, as well as seminars and different trainings aimed at identification, development, and improvement of various competences and knowledge. 

ENTRE is experienced in the design of projects in the fields of knowledge, learning, and work, and in the development of methods, tools, and instruments for anticipating and assessing qualifications and competences. 

ENTRE provides research and consulting activities in a wide range of products and services across the interface of education & training and the labour market.

Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) is a research-intensive university relying on a strong ecosystem of higher education and research institutions (Observatory of the Côte d’Azur, CNRS, INRIA, INSERM, etc.). The University was created as the merge of two institutions: ComUE UCA (a cluster of Higher Education and Research Institutions) and Université Nice Sophia Antipolis (a comprehensive well-known University). The UCA brings together the major players in higher education and research on the Côte d’Azur. This ecosystem is an integral part of the university since the main partners are members of the University’s governance and sit on the Steering Committee of the institution. As a recognition of our ambitious agenda and scientific excellence, UCA was awarded a prestigious “IDEX” (Excellence Initiative) award by the French government, placing UCA among a small group of high-profile, world-class French universities.

FONDO FORMACION EUSKADI (FFE) is a nonformal VET center whose mission is the development of people and the improvement of organizations. FFE is located in the Basque Country, with more than 30 years of experience in occupational and continuous vocational training for employees and unemployed, people at risk of social exclusion; consultancy and advisory to companies; management by competencies and employment training plans (most of them focused on disadvantaged groups, such as immigrants, disabled people, women, long term unemployed…); local development projects; professional guidance and advisory and support to learning.

FFE has a wide experience in transnational cooperation projects for the research, development, and innovation in the improvement of competences. Also, FFE works in different regional projects for the development of competences of adult people in different areas and from different profiles, and also of staff in the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, the Basque Government, Regional Governments, Municipalities, and public agencies.
